The Principals of Putnam Associates LLC are Arlene Putnam and Jeffrey Taylor. Ms. Putnam and Mr. Taylor worked together for nearly 15 years acquiring, renovating, promoting, and re-leasing underperforming regional shopping centers before establishing Putnam Associates LLC. Prior to this association, both had extensive careers in commercial real estate as follows:
Arlene Putnam: A cum laude graduate of Western New England College, Ms. Putnam has over 25 years experience in property management, real estate acquisition, leasing, marketing, and construction supervision. She also has extensive experience in governmental relations and serves as Chairman of the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield ( Mass.), she is an Executive Board Member of the Western Massachusetts Economic Development Council, and is an Incorporator of The Mason Wright Foundation and a Director of The Spirit of Springfield. Jeffrey Taylor: A graduate of Princeton University (BA) and New York University (MBA), Mr. Taylor began his business career at TIAA-CREF where he ran the owned real estate portfolio. He then joined Prudential as head of development for New Jersey where he supervised 7 office buldings, a major mall, and a Hilton Hotel along with two major land developments. At Cushman & Wakefield he was a development consultant directing consulting projects for such major clients as HBO, Barclays Bank, The World Bank, and The State of New York. At JMB Realty he managed a portfolio of primarily office projects in the Northeast valued at more than $20 billion. Finally, prior to forming Putnam Associates LLC, he joined a small real estate firm in New Jersey where he and Ms. Putnam acquired four major malls for repositioning. Mr. Taylor's community service experience includes nine years as Mayor, Member of the Planning Board, nine years as Deputy Public Safety Director, and Trustee of the volunteer fire department all in Chatham, New Jersey.
